About Us
If you had asked me in 2007 about homeschooling, I would have thought you crazy because “my kids already drive me crazy”! I didn’t have a single thought or desire to stop my nursing career and stay at home with my kids. Little did I know that someone else, who is ultimate power and wisdom, had His hands in it. So He started working on me early in 2008 (at least that’s when I realized it) and put it on my heart to homeschool.
Long story short, I started homeschooling our 4 kids in August of 2008. The past two years have been such a whirlwind of love, confusion and longing to know more. I pray that all the mistakes I’ve done in my life may lead me to become a better servant, wife and mother. And it is this journey that I wish to share with those whom I love, look up to and have not met yet.

How funny! We just moved to Bentonville in January of 2008. The kids and I are native Floridians!(Yes….we do exist!LOL)
Hi Vikki. I am digging through hundreds of e-mails on my yahoo account and I saw a post you made on the SWHOME group. I just wanted to let you know about a couple of groups.. There is a group in Monett that gets together for activites. We are an informal groups of Christian families who just like to get together sometimes and do stuff. If you would like me add you to the e-mail list I can do so and let you know about upcoming activites.
Also, I wanted to let you know about the Classical Conversations group in Mt. Vernon. If you have not heard of Classical conversations before you might check it out on line. It is a wonderful program that allows you to classically educate your kids while having support from others doing the same and allowing the kids to get some social time once a week.
